Yeah, I suppose I'm back and, and settled in to a brand new life style. I thought I'd come back to this and reminisce for a little while, and realized, after about 20 minutes, just how emo I was.
It's kinda sad really. All those poems I wrote were inspired by things that happened in every day life, and due to the reality that, at the time, I couldn't handle road-bumps, I broke down and wrote emo little poems.
People liked them though, so I decided to keep them up.
Regardless, I've changed (Oh god, here comes the Big Brother interview)
I feel that I'm much more confident and curagous. I'm less focused on trying to be goth (If at all anymore... I still wear all black, all the time though ^^) and more focused on just trying to improve myself and my life, or at least my overall view on life.
I moved out of Heber after my parents divorced about 6 months ago, maybe a little less. (Which isn't divulging much, when you notice that I never have a father in the house) And I feel a lot happier, and more confident in myself to do things on my own, by myself. I am more trusting in my abilities lately, and don't feel the need to always prove myself or be something.
I still play DDR, and now ITG (In the Groove) and am significantly better. I'm hoping I can go up against you now, Sean (although those AA's will still kick my ass)
I have a new hobby now, however. I am learning a lot about cars, and learning the legalities and illegalities (Word?) of street racing though hands on experience. Meaning, I like to race my Civic. And modify it. It doesn't have much on it yet, but I hope by next year, I can be around 160-170 horsepower, maybe even to 180. We'll see. The paying of bills kinda hurts my ability to save any money.
I go to Murray Highschool, and actually kind of enjoy it there. I love that most people are really open minded and keep to themselves, or to their own group. It's a GREAT change from Heber, where I was just barely starting to fit in. Here at Murray, I was fitting in from week 2, which was awesome. Only problem is that people here don't know nearly as much about cars. Lancer Evo VIII (4 lbs of boost) vs. 07 Cobra Mustang (437)..... Without knowing of the mods on either cars, the naive kids here chose the import. Of course. Assuming they meant a drag race, the outcome would be obvious. Torque wins against the turbo lag.
So, all in all, I'm not sure how many poems I'm going to write, but I'll have many pictures of cars (including mine) and I'm thinking of writing stories, or a series.
Oh... a big change... I'm no longer "Metal or nothing". I like all genre. And people thought I would never change. Thanks Cole
